About The Designer - Payton’s Place

Hey friend - Welcome to my place !

My name is Payton Patterson, owner and Lead Designer of Payton’s Place – I came up with the name for my business because I adored how casual it sounded. I wanted people to feel like they were popping by a friend’s house to chat and enjoy coffee. Which is usually what happens anyways during our floral or interior design consults. I like to tell people that I don’t have clients, I just make more friends. As I’ve gotten to know individuals through their wedding planning and home renovations you guys truly do become friends to me and I LOVE getting to be part of your special day and watch you two journey on your adventure of life together. Or getting to be part of making a house your dream home - Super cheesy, I know, but you’ll realize it’s true!

I first started working with flowers when I was 15 years old. My very first job was working at a small, local flower shop located in Regina, Saskatchewan. Eventually, the cute little flower shop had to close and I couldn’t let go of floral design! I decided to start my own floral business out of my home to continue helping couples make their weddings beautiful, and memorable with no stress. A few years later I decided to move to Alberta for Interior Design school and adored every second of it. Since graduating and moving home I have had the opportunity to specialize in a luxury plumbing, lighting & furniture showroom, a flooring store as well as work for two different, well established design firms. I have gained a well-rounded understanding of interior design. I love what I do and who I get to work for whether it’s for a home project or a wedding event. I am so happy you found your way here, be sure to drop me a message so we can hang out!

What People Are Saying

“I really cannot say enough good things about Payton as our florist for our wedding day. Her education is through the roof and I felt very secure and confident that my flowers were going to be beautiful, cohesive with my theme, and most importantly last the entire day!”

“Payton was so good to work with. I didn’t know what I specifically wanted but after we talked, she understood my vision perfectly! The bouquets she designed for our day suited it (and me) so well. I loved getting to carry them with me all day, they made me feel extra beautiful!.”
