Virtual Design Services
These packages are for the Doers! If a DIY project doesn’t scare you, let me help and put together a beautiful, virtual design package for your home that will give you a game plan and road map for how to create and finish the room you are wanting to refresh!
What do I get in a Virtual Design Package?
Do It Yourself renovations can be overwhelming: Where do I start? What if I need someone else to do part of the work? Where do we buy things? What it is supposed to look like when it’s finished?
That’s where I come in - A beautiful renovation is the result of good planning and lots of research:
You will get:
Mood Board
The Mood Board is a quick over view of your project. It will have pictures of new materials, furniture, inspiration, etc. to help you visualize everything altogether.
Floor Plan
Your new floor plan will be based on your existing dimensions (we hop on a video chat to talk about this more!) and I develop a 3D model based on your measurements. I’ll show where the new furniture should go, any wall hangings, etc.
3D Renderings
A picture is worth 1,000 words - so why not have several pictures?! Each virtual design package includes at least four renderings of the new room for you to see what the finished room will look like. I’ll put the new furniture in the 3D, any new material finishes (paint colours, wallpaper, etc.) and fixtures (new lighting)
Elevations
The detail elevations give you all the information that a 3D rendering does not. In a rendering we can see we want art work hung on that wall, but how high should they be hung and how far apart from each other? You will get a detailed and dimensioned elevation of every wall in your project.
Source Guide
The Source Guide is essentially the most important part of your Virtual Design package - This tells you what everything is and where to get it! In our Virtual Design consult, we will talk about your wish list for the new room and I will source you several options to consider. I try to provide at least three options of everything from furniture, accent materials, fixtures, etc.
How does the Virtual Design Process work?
Do It Yourself renovations can be overwhelming: Where do I start? What if I need someone else to do part of the work? Where do we buy things? What it is supposed to look like when it’s finished?
That’s where I come in - A beautiful renovation is the result of good planning and lots of research:
Step #1
Apply through the inquiry page. Even if you’re not totally sure what you want/ need yet, let’s start the conversation! I’ll look over your application and we’ll schedule a video call or face-to-face consultation and site visit to talk about your project at the house you are hoping to renovate.
Step #2
When I we have our free, discovery consultation, (whether virtual or in person) you can show me the room you are wanting to fix up and refresh. Maybe it’s your ensuite, laundry room, home office, etc. We’ll do a walk around and chat about the hopes and dreams you have for the room. I’ll take some notes and floor plan sketch of your room, or if we are having a video chat, you can send me the pictures and measurements after our call.
Step #3
Step #4
Afterwards, I will take all of our consultation notes, design sketches and ideas, material selections, existing room photos, and measurements, etc.,. and develop the Virtual Design Package for you. These virtual design packages include: a new floor plan, a full Source Guide of all our material selections, design elements, furniture options, and finishes, detailed and dimensioned wall elevations, as well as four 3D rendered images of what your new room will look like. This design package becomes the “Instruction Book” on how to make your new room design come to life as quick, cost effective and smooth as possible for everyone involved.
Each virtual design package comes with one revision should you desire to see different finishes, etc. After we have fine tuned your virtual design plan, the package is complete and ready for contractors and trades to provide detailed and accurate quotes for any work that you do not want to complete yourself, how much material you need and what fixtures should be installed where.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don’t live in Regina, Saskatchewan?
No worries at all - I have worked on several out of town projects including: White City, Emerald Park, Moose Jaw, Esterhazy, Pilot Butte, and more! As long as your project timeline is flexible, we will be able to work together just fine. I still recommend visiting your local showroom to see physical samples before ordering. Sometimes pictures of samples online can be deceiving to what they look like installed in real life!
What if I don’t know what style I want or like?
Don’t worry - you’re not alone and that’s what I’m here for! You and I will get together and talk about your wish list and inspiration. Based on our conversation, I will develop a design palette for your renovation and we can fine tune the details together.
Where do I order the materials and fixtures from?
Great question - I always say that YOU are the driver of the Reno Bus. As your virtual designer, I will send you exact links for items and materials so that you can purchase anything online or from local showrooms. At the end of the day, YOU decide where you want to order from. Whether that be through my contacts or using your own!
