Hogarth’s Second Story Flip - Regina, SK Interior Renovation Designer

When we say flip, we mean, “Let’s shuffle the entire floor plan upstairs so you wouldn’t know it was the same house” kind of flip. “We just moved into this house - I know this floor plan in weird, but it’s got potential - I can feel it” Haley told me during our first consult at the house. She was right, the original upper level consisted of a medium sized master bedroom with a micro ensuite and minimal closet space. The main bathroom was “mazey” to say the least, and the other three bowling lane bedrooms were… interesting. All that being said, the location of Braden and Haley’s new home was flawless. Tucked into a quiet bay, huge backyard, mature trees - just imagine birds happily singing and feeling the warm sun hit your skin on a summer day.

Braden continued, “We have already hired a contractor, but this is our forever home and we want to do it right.” Together, we chatted about the wish list for the new second level: more storage - everywhere. Larger ensuite with a freestanding tub, tiled walk-in shower, a huge master closet, fixing the other bedrooms, etc. Their wishes were my command.
